Hey Everyone!
I can’t believe my second baby Fallyn turned 1!
We decided to have a big party for her this past Saturday! It was filled with love and family and close friends! We couldn’t be happier to be blessed with so many amazing people in Fallyn’s life!
My little girl is not so little anymore as she is table walking around and motoring everywhere! Its crazy how time truly flies by. It was a wonderful day!
It was Dora the Explorer themed, filled with a bouncy castle, and a Dora cake & piñata. That afternoon turned out so great! See for yourself!
1. BIRTHDAY SIGN
I created a really cute sign with stickers. I found all the supplies at Dollarama, here in Canada as well as Dollar tree. (Just a little DIY).
2. BOUNCY CASTLE
No party is complete without an awesome Bouncy Castle and this company alone is one of my favourites to deal with. Always so kind and super accommodating. www.afrentals.ca
(in Winnipeg).
Unfortunately there isn't any Dora the Explorer bouncers, but Mickey Mouse is a great replacement option.
3. FOOD & DRINKS
Since it was her first birthday. We rented a haul and we made a lot of food, spanish rice, cheddar perogies, ceasar & kale salads. There was assorted pizzas and of course being Chilean. We had cheese and meat empanadas! We also had an assortment of fruit punches, juice boxes and water for everyone to drink from.
4. THE CAKE
My baker Melissa, is one talented lady and I love her to death. She has made my baking for years. Especially when it comes to my kids! She always makes what I ask for and goes above and beyond to make it happen. She also made these Dora star cookies as well.
Her name is Melissa Janzen and her creations can be found here.

5. BALLOONS
Ok…. when it came to balloons they did NOT have any Dora Balloons?! What the heck party stuff… apparently its not popular. I was pretty disappointed to say the least so I had to settle for a happy birthday balloon only. I’m sure Fallyn will appreciate me trying. lol
6. PINATA
My awesome friend Geo, who’s mother made a Dora Piñata for the occasion and I couldn’t be happier. Fallen & Freya both got to take a swing at it.
Huge shoutout goes to my madre for making all of the food and my mother in law for making the drinks, these ladies prepared and set up all the food on the day of. I couldn’t have done it without you ladies. To my wonderful husband for helping me set up all the decor. Huge shoutout goes to my father in law for keeping the girls busy while we set everything up. Love you from the bottom of my heart!
XOXO,
Leslie
